My favorite of the Gone series!!! Awesome!,
I loved this book. I thought it was surprising, suspenseful, action packed and excellent. It is hands down my favorite of the Gone books. However, one cannot read them out of order. You must read them all for this book to be great
because part of it is knowing all the previous story lines from the other books.
Anyway though I highly recommend this book if you have read the other three. It was creepy, some gruesome scenes for sure, well written and just an awesome story.
I dont want to spoil anything though so I am not giving away any details! Loved it though!

|Infectious,
The newest addition to the Gone novels is //Plague//, about a group of young adults with supernatural powers, who are forced to make allies and enemies alike while trapped in FAYZ, a world created by the young autistic Peter. Only remnants remain of morality and rational reasoning after FAYZ forces a disastrous onslaught of attacks upon its residents. Edilio has been elected head of the council, but the real leader is Sam, and his (reluctant) girlfriend Astrid. They represent the power couple of FAYZ, though their actual relationship is far from what either of them had hoped. That shortcoming is the least of troubles in FAYZ, however.
A new breed of parasite, persistently impenetrable, voracious, and breeding by the minute, is on the move. Its main targets are the residents of FAYZ, but any animal will do. From the outskirts of the city comes a warped version of the whooping cough, the severity of which can propel its occupant through the air. With the threats growing ever nearer, the council and its members struggle to keep the FAYZ, and themselves, alive.
The Gone novels pretty much define fast-paced, and //Plague// leaves readers panting to keep up. Running (or, rather, reading) at that speed, however, gives readers a delicious chance to experience a thriller that has the coveted quality to induce a more violent shudder with each page. Don’t even bother to start here if you’re new. If you’re a veteran, Grant delivers well.

|Dark and Riveting,
Following the events in Lies, Astrid begins to think that her little brother Pete may be responsible for the FAYZ. He is certainly connected somehow. Drake and Brittany are now one creature, sharing a body and held in captivity. But unbeknownst to Brittany, Drake will try to escape. Meanwhile, two plagues are attacking the kids of the FAYZ, a new super-flu and an infection of flesh-eating parasites. Friends and enemies must all join forces to battle the parasitic bugs just to survive.
Fourth novel in the Gone series, Plague once again brings new dangers and obstacles for the kids of the FAYZ. As if they didn’t have enough problems just with politics, personal interactions, jealousies, and vendettas. Several of the kids go through some big changes just within this story. There were no major revelations or answers in this installment, yet steps were laid for the end game. This series is incredibly riveting, full of fascinating characters, unforeseeable dangers, and gut-wrenching horror. Fast-paced excitement, suspense, and angst made this another thrilling episode in an exceptional young adult series.
