There are no monthly fees for wireless access or any other right that the cost of Kindle 2 & each product. In fact, most Kindle books are sold at about 0.99, which represents about / book cheaper than the Sony DRM versions on average.

The Kindle 2 also includes the ability of text into speech for those times when you need hands for something. I see this function as a great help in the kitchen when you prepare the ingredients so that the Kindle 2 reads the recipe for you!

In addition into books, you can also download newspapers, magazines & some blogs in 1000. An average book, they say, takes about 60 seconds into download into their greater speed. There are currently 230,000 titles available for download on Amazon Kindle Store with more being added every day.

While Sony features a very similar product, the Kindle 2 e-book reader features more options at a price much better. The advantage of being able into download books without a computer, including chargers (USB & wall charger) access into Wikipedia, newspapers & magazines & downloads the price of each book is right for many an advantage over the Sony version.

The one & only downfall of Kindle 2 eBook reader is it the lack of an LED light for night reading. However, this omission on the part of Amazon can be easily overcome by buying a clip light.
