   I read the Bible daily and I wanted to have the best electronic Bible available for Kindle. Therefore I have downloaded several KJV Bible ebooks to my Kindle. All versions that I downloaded were good. Most had hyperlinked table of contents (I think it is a must for an electronic Bible), and some (including the KJV Bible from Mobil Reference) had little table of contents in each book with hyperlinks to chapters and psalms.

   After trying these several KJV Bible ebooks I came to the conclusion that the edition from Mobil Reference is the best. First of all this KJV Bible is illustrated by Gustave Dore. The illustrations are beautiful and look very nice on the Kindle. Second, the text is clear with each passage marked by a small number. However, the most important factor in my reviewing considerations was the unique suggested reading list with hyperlinks to Bible passages.

   The suggested reading list is divided into five groups: Help In Time Of Need, Historical Highlights, Spiritual Standards, Dynamic Doctrines, and Practical Concepts. Each group has a number of categories. For example, the Help In Time Of Need group has the following categories: The Way Of Salvation, Comfort In Time Of Loneliness, Comfort In Time Of Sorrow, Relief In Time Of Suffering, Guidance In Time Of Decision, Protection In Time Of Danger, Courage In Time Of Fear, Peace In Time Of Turmoil, Rest In Time Of Weariness, Strength In Time Of Temptation, Warning In Time Of Indifference, and Forgiveness In Time Of Conviction. Finally each category has several links to related passages in the New and Old Testaments. I found that the ability to quickly reach for a relevant passage was very important to me. I definitely recommend this edition of the KJV Bible.

   Rating:
   This book is one of the easiest books to navigate through that I have ever seen. It reads like the paper version. In fact, it is better than the paper version because I don’t have to keep paging to get to where I want to read. Instead, each chapter or individual book is just a click away. After a few short minutes of searching through the text, I had forgotten that I was reading the Kindle version. I am enjoying having the Holy Bible at my fingertips.
